Pork feast programme

  • Arrival in the morning (or possibility of accommodation a day earlier in the hotel Bukovanský mlýn***)
  • Welcoming guests with Slovak slivovitz, bread with crackling spread and feast cakes
  • Beginning of the Slovacská zabijačka ( at 9:00 a.m.) - according to the interest of the guests, the possibility of active participation in the zabijačka work such as cutting and grinding meat, skins and vegetables, filling jitrnice, skewering intestines, mixing cracklings in the cauldron, etc. - suitable working clothes
  • Morning snack (brain and egg, liver and chin taken directly from the boiler, pastry)
  • Free entertainment at the slaughterhouse with accordion player and butchers
  • Lunch buffet of real killing specialties (light soup with hail, ovar, grilled pork knee, brain sauce, pastries, delicacies)
  • Afternoon program - further participation in the slaughterhouse work, free entertainment, rest, or the possibility of an accompanying program of your choice (wine tasting, slivovitz tasting, beer tasting, tour of the mill with a commentary by the miller, competition in pulling in the basket,...)
  • Dinner in the form of a buffet in the Millers' Restaurant (specialties - dark stew soup, roasted meat, pork ribs, stewed cabbage, sauerkraut, dumplings, boiled potatoes, fresh plantains, tripe, pressed cabbage, crackling)
  • All-night entertainment with dulcimer music
  • End of the evening, overnight stay
  • Breakfast buffet in the Mlynářská restaurant
  • Handing over of killer's treats and departure of guests
